Frame Assembly & Installation Instructions

1. Assemble masterframe using No. 8x1 LPH screws. See fig.1 A, B & C to determine proper assembly of parts.

2. After the frame has be assembled, caulk under sill and in the corners where jamb meets sill.

3. Install masterframe into rough opening. Shim at installation screws to prevent bowing of frame. Use No. 8x1¼ ph pan hd in masterframe head & jambs. Use No. 8x1 flat hd in sill.

4. After masterframe is installed plumb, level and true, be sure to caulk between the bottom & sides of the sill & sub-floor.


Two Panel Door Installation Instructions
Important: Before installation check squareness of panels by measuring each one diagonally. They may be squared up by hitting corners with a hammer using a block of wood to protect the aluminum frame.

1. Install active panel (x) first from the outside, slipping it up into the head and then lifting it over and on to the rail. See fig. 2 at “a” Use roller adjustment screw to align panel with frame jamb where necessary. See fig. 3 Be sure to maintain adequate woolpile contact between moving panel rail and track to insure a proper weather seal.

2. The fixed frame; (0) is similarly installed from the outside by placing the longer leg of the panel into the slot provided in sill. As shown in fig. 2 at “b” Slide the fixed panel into the slot of frame jamb. Set plumb and then fasten in place from the inside of the house with two adjustable clips at top and bottom of this panel using No.10x½ screws. See fig. 4 (Note: Slot in sill where fixed panel is inserted must be caulked. See fig. 1c) Adjust wind-checks at top and bottom of fixed panel interlock stile by loosening assembly screws and locating wind-check snug against head and sill masterframe.

3. Adjust sliding panel to align it with frame and interlock by raising or lowering either or both wheels as required. See fig. 3

4. Install sill cover between fixed panel stile & opposite frame jamb. Be sure to caulk slot prior to setting sill cover in opening. Tap with rubber mallet to set in place. See fig. 1-c

5. Install pullstile handle and latchset. Install rubber bumper pad into hole punch in jamb just below the keeper with 8 x 3/4 screw. Install 2nd bumper pad and extension on opposite frame jamb using No. 8 x2 screw.

Check door for proper interlock alignment. Note: it is recommended at this time to apply a silicone spray lubricant to moving panel wheels & track surface to insure a smooth rolling panel.

3 Panel Door Installation Instructions

1. Install fixed panel A with meeting stile from the outside, slipping it up into the head and lifting it over and on the rail. As shown in fig. 5 Secure this panel with No. 4 – 6x3/8 as shown.

2. Install fixed and active panels (B and C in fig. 5) as described in 2 door panel installation instructions.

3. Install lock keeper and small rubber bumper in meeting stile using machine screws.

4. When a screen is required fasten screen for to meeting stile with No. 4 – 6x3/8 screws. As shown at D
